What a wonderful evening! The support received from the community on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at FACETS’ 13th Annual Taste of Fall underscores two of our key features – Community Involving & Collaborative. Seeing the community come together with a goal to move Fairfax County/City closer to a day when no one is homeless and everyone has access to adequate and affordable housing was truly heartwarming. We are more convinced than ever that working together we can achieve this monumental task.
Approximately 250 people were in attendance and through their generous support, along with that from our sponsors, A Taste of Fall raised over $71,000 for our programs to help people overcome the effects of poverty! What a fantastic way to kick-off our 25th anniversary and begin working towards implementing our new three year strategic plan that will enable FACETS to better assist those we work with to achieve their dreams of economic and housing stability.
