FACETS is looking for mission-driven Bilingual (Spanish/English) Case Manager to join our team serving families experiencing homelessness or at-risk of homelessness in region 1 of Fairfax County. You will serve as Case Manager for the Next Steps Family Program, an emergency shelter and prevention program located in scattered site apartments in Alexandria, VA and will provide housing related services to families participating at the shelter, as well as aftercare for those recently exited from Shelter, and homeless prevention and diversion services in the community.
If you’re a fast learner, enthusiastic, highly motivated, skilled in providing services in the community, and bring excellent data entry and organizational skills come join our team. Bachelor’s degree required. MSW is a plus.

Position Summary:
The Outreach Case Manager is a member of the Preventing and Ending Homelessness for Adults Without Children Team. The Outreach Case Manager provides rapid re-housing services to unsheltered or chronically homeless individuals in Central Fairfax County with the goal of moving them from homelessness to housing in 30 days. The Outreach Case manager will also provide prevention services to 5 prevention clients a month.

This dynamic role brings critical, person-centered services directly to individuals living unsheltered in woods, campsites, parks, abandoned buildings, bus stops, and other outdoor environments. Outreach staff actively connect with people experiencing homelessness to build trust, reduce barriers, and link them to essential services.
The Outreach Case Manager plays a key role in helping clients move from the streets into stable, permanent housing, often within 30 days. This is an exciting opportunity to make a direct, meaningful impact on the lives of some of Fairfax County’s most vulnerable residents.
Position Summary:
FACETS is excited to hire full-time, client-centered, and trauma-informed Residential Support Specialists for Bailey’s Community Shelter, a 52-bed program serving single adults experiencing homelessness, with two additional floors dedicated to Permanent Supportive Housing. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting residents as they work toward stability and independence.
Residential Support Specialists play a crucial role in providing 24/7 direct support and guidance to individuals residing in the shelter. This position involves assisting residents with daily needs, addressing immediate concerns, monitoring compliance with shelter rules, medication monitoring, and crisis intervention. This position is also responsible for maintaining safety and security for residents and ensuring smooth program operations at all times.

The ideal candidate brings strong interpersonal skills, sound independent judgment, and experience in homeless services, and an empathetic approach. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus.
An Opportunity Neighborhood (ON) utilizes a collective impact approach to help children, youth, and families reach their fullest potential through a strong academic foundation, family and community stability, and a culture of engagement, connectedness, and success. FACETS is the lead organization for ON-Annandale which is an established initiative (3 years old). Position Summary:
The Senior Director of Business Management will serve as a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for all aspects of business and financial management, planning and compliance. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience managing nonprofit finances, including governmental contracts. The Senior Director of Business Management will ensure financial integrity, optimize resources, and provide data-driven insights to advance organizational goals.
This position serves as the primary liaison and works closely with our contract CFO and external accounting team, holding lead responsibility for the intersection of FACETS programs and accounting functions. Oversees invoice review and approval, program budget and expenditure tracking, and leads financial program reviews. Promotes financial literacy throughout the organization. Manages proposal and grant pricing in collaboration with solution architects and program teams. Serves as the internal lead for the annual budget process, incorporating input from programs, development, and operations. Directs the selection and implementation of business management systems and information systems. Partners with Human Resources to develop and evaluate benefits solutions for both current and future needs. Manages insurance matters, program contracts, and amendments, including risk assessment and file management.
FACETS works to prevent crisis by providing low-income families supports so they can thrive. The Director of Community Development supervises two areas of work within FACETS, Opportunity Neighborhood (ON) and Education and Community Development (ECD). Both programs are primarily funded through Fairfax County’s Neighborhood Initiatives Program.
ON gives residents of identified neighborhoods, the chance to engage with schools, local government, community organizations, and businesses. They work collaboratively using a systems-level approach to help children, youth, and families reach their fullest potential through a strong academic foundation, family and community stability, and a culture of engagement, connectedness, and success. FACETS is the backbone organization for Opportunity Neighborhoods in Annandale and Centreville.
FACETS’ ECD Centers provide social service case management, adult education, and youth academic support/enrichment to residents of four county-owned housing complexes. The ECD Centers provide access to a tech lab, career center, and food pantry as well as monthly food distributions and special seasonal distributions. They are located in Annandale, Fairfax, and Centreville.
The Director of Community Development provides supervision and support to the ECD Team Lead, the ON–Annandale Strategy Manager, the ON—Centreville Strategy Manager, and the ON Data Specialist. The Director of Community Development builds community relationships to benefit the programs and represents them to County funders. The Director monitors the budgets, ensures timely reporting on outcome measures, and leads the submission of funding proposals for renewal of contracts and program expansion.

FACETS is seeking a mission-driven Medical Outreach Case Manager to join the team at Bailey’s Community Shelter and support coordinated outreach efforts across Region 2. The Medical Outreach Case Manager provides street-based and site-based case management to individuals experiencing homelessness with complex medical, behavioral health and social needs. The Medical Outreach Case Manager works as part of an interdisciplinary Homeless Healthcare Program (HHP) team that includes Fairfax County’s Community Services Board and Health Department, to engage unsheltered and sheltered individuals, coordinate access to primary and specialty care, support continuity of care, and address social determinants of health to improve health outcomes and housing stability.
The Medical Outreach Case Manager meets clients where they are, visiting known encampments, shelters, drop-in centers, other community locations, and responds to service requests from first responders, county agencies, businesses, and community members.
Position Summary:
The Financial Housing Case Manager plays a key role in ensuring participants of the Permanent Supportive Housing(PSH) program maintain stable housing. This includes managing the timely payment of leases, utility bills, security deposits, moving costs and hotel vouchers. In collaboration with case managers and accounting, the Financial Housing Case Manager will oversee contract budgets, track expenditures, and ensure compliance with HUD contract requirements.
Position Summary:
The Program Director Adult Only Households is responsible for the oversight, coordination, and implementation of AOH Outreach and Housing services in Region 4, including the Hypothermia Program, Medical Outreach, and Street Outreach initiatives. This role ensures that services are delivered in alignment with federal, state, and local guidelines, including Continuum of Care (CoC), HUD, and community standards, to effectively serve individuals experiencing homelessness. The Program Director is a member of the Preventing and Ending Homelessness and Leadership teams. Providing overall supervision and direction of all programs serving single adults experiencing homelessness, the Program Director serves as an advisor, coordinator, collaborator, hands-on training developer and trainer as required by the project requirements.
The Operations Coordinator ensures the smooth daily operation of Bailey’s Community Shelter by maintaining a safe, clean, and well-managed environment for clients and staff. This role oversees and trains Cooks, Housekeeping Staff, and collaborates with the Program Director and kitchen team to manage meal schedules, food preparation, and volunteer support.
As the Certified Food Protection Manager, the coordinator ensures compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards. Responsibilities include managing food and supply inventory, maintaining accurate records, and following agency purchasing procedures. The Coordinator conducts regular facility inspections, ensures adherence to safety protocols, and supports staff through ongoing training.

The Next Steps Shelter Case Management Supervisor oversees a team of Case Managers providing services to families experiencing homelessness in Region 1 Fairfax County. This program operates through scattered-site apartments, townhomes and single-family homes located in Alexandria VA. Working in partnership with the Fairfax County Office to Prevent and End Homelessness (OPEH), the Case Management Supervisor ensures that families receive safe temporary shelter, high quality, trauma-informed care, and comprehensive supportive services to promote successful transitions to permanent housing.
This role provides direct supervision to case management staff, including coaching, mentoring, and supporting professional development. The Case Management Supervisor is responsible for ensuring compliance with programmatic and funding requirements; maintain service quality standards and strengthening service delivery through collaboration with community partners.
The Supervisor serves as a key leader within the shelter program and represents the agency both internally and externally with clients, stakeholders and funders. The ideal candidate is an experienced and adaptable leader who is highly motivated, quick to learn, and skilled in delivering community based services.
