FACETS is looking for mission-driven Bilingual (Spanish/English) Case Manager to join our team serving families experiencing homelessness or at-risk of homelessness in region 1 of Fairfax County. You will serve as Case Manager for the Next Steps Family Program, an emergency shelter and prevention program located in scattered site apartments in Alexandria, VA and will provide housing related services to families participating at the shelter, as well as aftercare for those recently exited from Shelter, and homeless prevention and diversion services in the community.
If you’re a fast learner, enthusiastic, highly motivated, skilled in providing services in the community, and bring excellent data entry and organizational skills come join our team. Bachelor’s degree required. MSW is a plus.

Position Summary:
The Outreach Case Manager is a member of the Preventing and Ending Homelessness for Adults Without Children Team. The Outreach Case Manager provides rapid re-housing services to unsheltered or chronically homeless individuals in Central Fairfax County with the goal of moving them from homelessness to housing in 30 days. The Outreach Case manager will also provide prevention services to 5 prevention clients a month.

FACETS is excited to hire full-time, client-centered, and trauma-informed Residential Support Specialists for Bailey’s Community Shelter, a 52-bed program serving single adults experiencing homelessness, with two additional floors dedicated to Permanent Supportive Housing. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting residents as they work toward stability and independence.
Residential Support Specialists play a crucial role in providing 24/7 direct support and guidance to individuals residing in the shelter. This position involves assisting residents with daily needs, addressing immediate concerns, monitoring compliance with shelter rules, medication monitoring, and crisis intervention. This position is also responsible for maintaining safety and security for residents and ensuring smooth program operations at all times.

The ideal candidate brings strong interpersonal skills, sound independent judgment, and experience in homeless services, and an empathetic approach. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus.
FACETS works to prevent crisis by providing low-income families supports so they can thrive. The Director of Community Development supervises two areas of work within FACETS, Opportunity Neighborhood (ON) and Education and Community Development (ECD). Both programs are primarily funded through Fairfax County’s Neighborhood Initiatives Program.
ON gives residents of identified neighborhoods, the chance to engage with schools, local government, community organizations, and businesses. They work collaboratively using a systems-level approach to help children, youth, and families reach their fullest potential through a strong academic foundation, family and community stability, and a culture of engagement, connectedness, and success. FACETS is the backbone organization for Opportunity Neighborhoods in Annandale and Centreville.
FACETS’ ECD Centers provide social service case management, adult education, and youth academic support/enrichment to residents of four county-owned housing complexes. The ECD Centers provide access to a tech lab, career center, and food pantry as well as monthly food distributions and special seasonal distributions. They are located in Annandale, Fairfax, and Centreville.
The Director of Community Development provides supervision and support to the ECD Team Lead, the ON–Annandale Strategy Manager, the ON—Centreville Strategy Manager, and the ON Data Specialist. The Director of Community Development builds community relationships to benefit the programs and represents them to County funders. The Director monitors the budgets, ensures timely reporting on outcome measures, and leads the submission of funding proposals for renewal of contracts and program expansion.
Position Summary:
The Program Director Adult Only Households is responsible for the oversight, coordination, and implementation of AOH Outreach and Housing services in Region 4, including the Hypothermia Program, Medical Outreach, and Street Outreach initiatives. This role ensures that services are delivered in alignment with federal, state, and local guidelines, including Continuum of Care (CoC), HUD, and community standards, to effectively serve individuals experiencing homelessness. The Program Director is a member of the Preventing and Ending Homelessness and Leadership teams. Providing overall supervision and direction of all programs serving single adults experiencing homelessness, the Program Director serves as an advisor, coordinator, collaborator, hands-on training developer and trainer as required by the project requirements.

The Kitchen Cook plays an exciting and essential role in fueling the daily life of our 52-bed homeless shelter, where three meals are served every single day of the year, and even more guests are welcomed during hypothermia season. This position brings creativity, skill, and heart to preparing large-scale, nutritious meals that support the health and wellness of our residents. The Kitchen Cook helps keep the kitchen running smoothly and safely, ensures the highest standards of food quality and sanitation, and creates a warm, inviting and culturally appropriate dining experience that residents can rely on. Position Summary:
FACETS offers prevention and diversion services to people without homes and at risk of homelessness. Our Eviction Prevention Team works with Fairfax County court-involved households at risk of eviction and facing legal action. The primary purpose of this position is to assist in the mobilization of a pilot program that offers parallel support for these clients and shepherds them through legal process at Fairfax County’s landlord tenant court by providing free counsel through the grant funded program to increase access to legal representation. In collaboration with Legal Services of Northern Virginia. And Coordinated Services and Planning, the Administrator is responsible for onsite court outreach and coordination between clients and pro bono lawyers.

FACETS is seeking a mission-driven Program Director to lead operations at Bailey’s Community Shelter, a 52-bed shelter program in Fairfax County Region 2 serving Adult Only households experiencing homelessness.
The Program Director oversees daily operations, staff supervision, client services, and overall program quality. This role ensures that services are delivered with dignity, safety, compassion, and excellence, and that all practices align with FACETS and Fairfax County Office to Prevent and End Homelessness (OPEH) standards, contractual requirements, and trauma-informed care principles.
The Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.
An Opportunity Neighborhood (ON) utilizes a collective impact approach to help children, youth, and families reach their fullest potential through a strong academic foundation, family and community stability, and a culture of engagement, connectedness, and success.
