Emergency Assistance

At FACETS, we help people in need and meet them wherever they are in their crisis.

Our Emergency Response services connect people with the most acute, basic survival needs—whether it’s shelter, a meal, transportation to medical and dental services, a pair of shoes, a sympathetic ear, or emergency financial assistance.

Our Services

  • Hypothermia Prevention

From the Sunday after Thanksgiving to April 1, FACETS works closely with more than 50 faith communities to create pop-up shelters during the coldest months of the year for our most vulnerable neighbors. Our Hypothermia Prevention and Response team ensures that anyone who needs it has a safe, warm place to sleep for the night. Our hypothermia shelters are open every night of the week and provide dinner and breakfast the next morning.

  • Medical Outreach

Medical care for the homeless community is a crucial and often overlooked support to their safety and success. At FACETS, our Homeless Health Care program connects clients with medical and dental care as well as mental health care and substance use support.

  • Financial Assistance

FACETS provides financial assistance to those in need thanks to state, local, and federal funding. Assistance is available for security deposits, rent arrears, utility arrears, and other similar emergency situations.
