Fairfax Times: FACETS Hosts Academic Achievement Banquet for Youth
The 2023 school year came to a close last Friday and FACETS, a local nonprofit, hosted a celebration this week to recognize the achievements of some of Fairfax County’s most vulnerable students.
FACETS, based in Fairfax and founded in 1988 and now operating four community centers and affordable housing communities across the county, hosted its Academic Achievement Banquet at the Wedgewood Community Center in Annandale this week to celebrate the academic achievement of students living in affordable housing communities, including Barros Circle in Centreville and Wedgewood Apartments, Fairfax’s largest public housing community in Annandale.
