A Community in Crisis

In Fairfax County, Virginia, too many of our neighbors are stuck in cycles of poverty and homelessness, or teetering precariously on the edge. The end of pandemic-era assistance, coupled with rapidly rising rent and other cost-of-living prices, means our most vulnerable neighbors are facing even greater risk.

The Changing Lives Campaign

For three and a half decades, FACETS has been dedicated to providing emergency shelter, life-saving services, and assistance in securing housing for neighbors in need. In keeping with the legacy of 35 years of neighbors helping neighbors, our Changing Lives Campaign will raise flexible funds to provide emergency response to our neighbors in need. This emergency financial assistance includes help with rent, utilities, medical bills, transportation, childcare and other urgent needs that can be a tipping point for crisis.
