Cheryl Fitzgerald

Cheryl has been in health care operations for two years, but has spent over two decades in business operations. Cheryl has worked for and with a number of non profit community development and homelessness-focused organizations throughout her career. She saw joining the board of FACETS as a path to continue contributing value and improve the circumstances of families experiencing life’s challenges in the Fairfax County community. After serving on a number of boards, primarily at the national level, Cheryl has begun to focus her efforts more locally. She regularly volunteers with Bread for the City and Martha’s Table in Washington, DC, and is involved with several programs that provide mentors to students and young professionals. Cheryl lives in Fairfax with her husband, Daryl, where they raised their two daughters. They love to travel and have begun pursuing their bucket list goal of attending all four tennis Grand Slam tournaments at least once.
