Volunteer Services Internship

FACETS engages over 3,000 volunteers a year who committ their time, talent and treasure to the vital programs provided to support those in need in our community.  Meeting the needs of our growing programs is no easy feat.  Our Volunteer Manager could use all the support she can get. We have a unique opportunity for you to gain value experience in project management, volunteer recruitment, administrative tasks, and public speaking. The Volunteer Services Internship description is outlined below. We look forward to having you join our team.
Key Responsibilities
• Updating Volunteer Records
• Maintaining volunteer databases
• Leading occasional volunteer events
• Acting as an ambassador at volunteer recruitment fairs
• Planning volunteer recognition events with Volunteer Manager
• Assisting with volunteer training
• Update forms and applications
• Run volunteer impact reports
• Other duties as assigned
Time Commitment
10 hours a week for the duration of a semester. (we’d love for you to stay longer!) Occasional weekends as needed.
• Minimum age of 21
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• Familiarity with Volunteer and Donor Databases
• Detail oriented and organized• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Availability for the time commitment desired
• Outgoing people person
• Experience with planning events

Opening Doors Benefit Breakfast

Join us and over 500 caring community members for a complimentary hot breakfast. On Thursday, April 20th, FACETS will host its Annual Opening Doors Benefit Breakfast at the Fairview Park Marriott. Guest will hear directly from several of our program participants who are now in grasp of a brighter future. Because the community has joined FACETS in taking action, we have the ability to support hundreds of individuals and families in leaving poverty and homelessness behind for good.
