2021 Holiday Gift Drive

October 18, 2021 in Uncategorized

Holiday Gifts
As the COVID-19 crisis continues, the holidays have never felt so uncertain. In times of crisis, those most in need are dis-proportionally affected – this includes the children, families and individuals suffering the effects of homelessness, poverty and hunger in Fairfax County. In 2021, with so many impacted by the pandemic, many families need a little extra support to make their holidays joyous and bright. Our goal is to provide toys, gifts and gift cards to over 600 of our neighbors in need. Your generosity will go a long way in helping to bring cheer to our community’s most vulnerable. Thank you again for your loyal and generous support! We are so very grateful.

Please drop off your holiday gift donations by Monday, December 13th. Facets is open for drop off from 9AM – 3PM Monday through Friday. Donations will be accepted at FACETS’ main office

10700 Page Avenue, Building B,
Fairfax, Virginia 22030

COVID-19 Update: How You Can Help

March 12, 2020 in Uncategorized

FACETS is closely monitoring the developments around coronavirus (COVID-19). As we do so, we remain dedicated to serving our neighbors who suffer the effects of homelessness, poverty, and hunger in Fairfax County. The health, safety, and well-being of everyone at FACETS is our number one priority and we are doing everything we possibly can to protect our guests, clients, students, families, volunteers and staff.

COVID-19 has quickly overshadowed all other issues, but thus far has not stopped FACETS’ service to highly vulnerable people across all our programs. During this uncertain time, the children, families and individuals we serve are more dependent than ever on FACETS for food, shelter and other essential services. Our doors remain open but we can’t do it alone and we are reaching out to our community for help.

What you can do:

Make a Financial Contribution: Your gifts will help us cover the unexpected costs of the extra measures that are being taken. You can set up a one-time donation or a recurring donation that will go straight to providing food and programming for the children, families and individuals served through FACETS’ Homeless Prevention, Hot Meals, Education and Community Development, and Shelter programs. All donations will be mobilized to help local families and at-risk individuals with food, shelter and other essential needs.

Donations can be mailed to FACETS, 10700 Page Avenue, Building B, Fairfax, VA 22030.
