Back to School Drive

As the children served by FACETS’ programs returned to school, they needed your help!  This crisis has highlighted the equity gaps in our community.  Our most vulnerable and marginalized neighbors – those experiencing homelessness, low-immigrants and refugees, the unemployed and low-wage workers – face great economic challenges and uncertainty.

Together, we can helped to ease the financial back-to-school burden faced by our families and provided the children we served with the supplies they needed to create stronger futures.

With your support, we not only met our goal of distributing 400 backpacks, we exceeded it!  More than 450 backpacks filled with new supplies were distributed across our community – including  to FACETS’ program sites, Fairfax County schools and even to newly arrived Afghan refugee families.
