Back to School Drive

As the children served by FACETS’ programs return to school, they need your help! Our families–those experiencing homelessness, immigrants and refugees, the unemployed and underemployed–struggle to provide the most basic of back-to-school necessities for their school-aged kids.

Together, we can help to ease the financial back-to-school burden faced by our families and provide the children we serve with the supplies they need to create stronger futures for all of Fairfax County.

FACETS’ is kicking off our annual Back to School Drive for the 2024-2025 school year! This year, our goal is to collect 500 backpacks for students in need! See below for ways to get involved: 

Ways to Support

  • Make a Financial Donation

    Make a tax-deductible donation to FACETS and we’ll do the shopping for you! You can make a financial donation online HERE (indicate “Back to School Drive” in the Special Instructions field) or send a check to our main office and include “Back to School Drive” in the memo section.

  • Deliver Donations

    Download the list of needed school supplies for Grades K-6 HERE and for Grades 7-12 HERE. Donations can be dropped off at our main office, Monday through Friday, 9AM to 5PM.
